Google and the Pixel phone line

Google is an incredibly prolific and forward-looking company, no doubt about. They are famous for their search engine, and more recently also for their hardware, most notably the Pixel line of phones. However, the hardware seems to be often plagued by numerous problems due to unreliable QA. These range from things like boot loops, such shut-offs, sudden soft- or hard-bricking, and various other issues. Just use the company's own search engine to see evidence of numerous complaints in regards to this. Consumers would be willing to accept these as growing pains if the company would provide competent after-service to address these issues. But instead, the user public--again reference the various reddit threads--seems to have faced numerous problems with obtaining timely warranty service. 

Centauri Insurance - Equipment Breakdown Policy Claim Experience

In this post, I will review my experience of claiming with Centauri Insurance for an equipment breakdown of my central A/C unit under their Equipment Breakdown Coverage. I have purchased my homeowner's insurance through Centauri Insurance for the last couple years due to somewhat lower prices and also because I thought the Equipment Breakdown Coverage rider had value. As I will show in my review, purchase of the additional rider is a waste of money. The compressor, indoor blower fan, and outdoor fan were all inspected and working fine.  Here is the sequence of events: July 7, 2019: A/C unit stopped cooling. Claim filed with Centauri Insurance Equipment Breakdown. I was assigned a claim
